Draft City Development Plan 2009 – 2015

The Draft City Development Plan (2009 – 2015) has been published.

A series of public exhibitions on the Draft City Development Plan will be held during the month of September. At these exhibitions members of the public will have the opportunity to discuss the Draft Plan with Cork City Council Officials. Dates and times will be announced shortly.

The Development Plan will set out an overall strategy for the proper planning and sustainable development of the City for a six-year period and set out a guiding policy for the development of the city in terms of physical growth and renewal, economic, social and cultural activity and environmental protection and enhancement. The City Plan must take account of various national and regional strategies and guidelines.
