Jack Lynch Tunnel to close for maintenance

jack_lynch_tunnel1.gifThe Jack Lynch Tunnel is due to close from April 2nd to 4th for overnight maintenance. The tunnel will be open to traffic as normal between 7am and 8pm on these days.

Alternative routes are available to road users via the city centre, over these three days.
On the north side of the river, traffic should travel from the Dunkettle Interchange to the City centre via the Tivoli Dual carriageway and the N8 Lower Glanmire Road. Motorists should then follow signs for the N25 South Ring via the N27 South Link Road.

On the southern approaches to the tunnel, northbound traffic should travel via the Kinsale Road roundabout to the city centre via the N27 South Link Road and then follow signs for Dublin on the N8, Waterford the N25 via the Lower Glanmire Road.
